Congratulations and Thanks
As our fantastic choir headed off to Birmingham to perform at the Young Voices concert we had lots to celebrate in school as children were awarded Headteacher stickers for a range of achievements. We had our first badges for incredible sewing and our first double award when one of the children was celebrated by the class teacher as well as our Superstars sports coach.
We also acknowledged one of our pupils who had shown amazing kindness, thoughtfulness and compassion when an elderly member of the public had fallen in the street. The young man, his brother and a friend remained with the lady and her husband until the emergency services arrived and they were sure that the lady was in good hands. A true reflection of community care and wonderful personal qualities.
Lots of reasons to celebrate, thank you everyone.
