Friday 12th January

We have had some nice achievements to celebrate over the week.

Firstly, well done to one of our Year 5 children for winning a story competition and earning £25 towards her class' book collection.

We also congratulated this week's children for earning a Headteacher Sticker Award.  Once again, there were a number of fantastic reasons and all the children were so proud, as are we of them.

On Wednesday, a Year 5 and a Year 6 team went to represent us in a cluster athletics tournament.  We had a number of very positive comments about our children's effort, skill and manners - well done!  We are still awaiting the result of how our teams did and whether or not we will be advancing to the next stages.

To end the week, Year 1 treated us to a fantastic class assembly.  The children retold together their class story and presented their beautiful designs of their book covers.  Along with some information about 'materials' in science, the whole school enjoyed seeing some of the year 1 children share with us three of their gymnastics shapes.  Thank you Year 1.
