Year 2 Homework 3rd May 2022

Maths:

We are working on our mental math skills in class. Your child has a worksheet to complete for homework. They should be able to solve many problems mentally, but they may use fingers, draw picture or write anything down that helps them.

Reading:

Please read with your child at least 3x per week . If you finish your school reading book you can find more books to read on Oxford Owl and Phonics Bug. Click on the links here: Oxford Owl username is kington p/w read

Reading journal activity:

If your child is reading book band colour purple, gold or white they should be able to complete the reading comprehension task without help now. If they are reading books from green, blue, orange or turquoise they will need some help reading the text, but should be able to answer the questions. You may write the answers your child gives you if it helps. Thank you.
