This is the version of Jack and the Beanstalk that we would have been learning off by heart in school together. Read it through with your adult. Can you remember the actions that we use when we tell stories at school? I'm sure that you can remember some of them even if you can't remember all of them. Maybe you could make up some actions of your own to help you retell the story. Read it through twice and add the actions the second time that you read it.
At school you've been taught actions for the following words and phrases;
Once upon a time
Early one morning
At that moment
Happily ever after
You might be able to make up some actions for words like; starving, walked, climbed, chopped, hen and furious
