Literacy

In school we almost know this off by heart now, using our actions to help.  Read it though either on your own or with your adult.  Are there parts that  you know off by heart yet?

We are learning to start sentences with different words.   Here are some of the words from the story that we have been learning together.   Can you start sentences with these words?  You could write sentences from the Jack and the Beanstalk story or from another story if you wish.

Here are some ideas to get you started.  Try to write at least four sentences if you can.

As quick as a flash Jack jumped out of bed and began to climb the huge beanstalk. 

He climbed and he climbed and he climbed until he reached the top. 

There he spied a castle in the distance. 

Suddenly he heard the sound of loud footsteps coming closer.
