Maths

Today we will focus on 'one less'.  The children tend to find this a little more difficult so may need a bit more support today.  We have used the words 'one less' lots in class and they have practiced saying sentences such as "4 is one less than 5" etc..  Watch the video first then complete the worksheet which again can be fund in your pack.  For those that don't have their packs the worksheet is also available below.

Aut1.2.4 - Count one less

This is "Aut1.2.4 - Count one less" by White Rose Maths on Vimeo, the home for high quality videos and the people who love them.

Additional Challenge

This worksheet also focuses on one more and one less and looks at numbers up to 100.  Encourage your child to talk about what they have written.  For example "one more than 90 is 91", "one less than 90 is 89".
