Maths

Today we'll be ordering (non-consecutive) numbers, focusing on the vocabulary smallest and greatest.  Children may need reminding that greatest means largest (or biggest).

Watch the video if you wish before completing the sheet which you'll find in your original home school pack.  The game at the bottom of the page reinforces this lesson and can be played at lots of different levels so if your child was confident with this today you can extend their learning by asking them to order non-consecutive numbers up to 20 or even 100.

Aut1.4.2 - Order numbers

This is "Aut1.4.2 - Order numbers" by White Rose Maths on Vimeo, the home for high quality videos and the people who love them.

Focus on ordering rather than sequencing and have a go at ordering numbers forwards or backwards up to 10, then 20 and even up to 100 if you wish.
