Today's lesson is all about number bonds to ten and then using our knowledge of them to work out the bonds to twenty.  If you think your child needs more time to practice their bonds to ten then feel free to spend the week revising this (there are extra resources at the bottom of this page).  I can't emphasis the importance of this learning enough.  They will draw on their knowledge of these bonds throughout their time at school and beyond too, so it is worth spending time learning them off by heart.  We have looked at bonds to ten together in class but it was a while ago so they may not all be able to recall these fluently yet.
