Mrs Brookes Group

Today we are going to learn to read two syllable words with adjacent consonants.

When you read and blend these words, try to sound out a syllable at a time.  To make it easier I have split the words for you.

wind/mill    tree/top

star/light    lunch/box

Next play 'Make a Match' from Phonics Play.

You put a shampoo sandwich in my lunchbox.

Ring the helpdesk and tell them my cat is stuck.

I stuck a little windmill in this sandpit.
