Mrs Loxton's and Mrs R-P's groups

Today we are going to focus on spelling words that end with the suffix -ing.

Read the following words to your adult;

   buzzing   hunting   licking

   helping    cooking    going

How did you get on?  Next I'd like you to practise spelling these words.  Don't forget that buzzing has two zz's and licking has a ck.  Write each word out three times.

Choose four of the words and write a sentence using each of these words.

Here are some examples;

I am licking my lolly.

Can I help you with the cooking?

The bee is buzzing in the garden.
