Today we're going to revisit the ch sound which is often spelt tch at the end of words with short vowel sound.  Here are some examples;

Now practice reading and spelling these tch words;

hutch    witch     catch   snatch

match   fetch   kitchen   notch


Finish your session by writing three sentences using tch words.  You can choose which words you use.  Here are some ideas.

The witch flew high on her broomstick.

Can you catch a ball with one hand?

The fluffy rabbit lives in a hutch.


There are some exceptions to this rule, some ch words are just spelt ch like; much, such, rich and which.
