Friday 14th June 2024

Our Year 6 children have represented the school brilliantly this week, whether they are practising the KS2 show (performance date is 2pm and 6pm on 12th July at LHS - tickets on sale soon) or at the Luctonians Tag Rugby Fest where we managed to get to the semi-finals and then only lost by 1 point!  They were rightly very proud of themselves, as is Mr Ward-Willis who felt they deserved a special star sticker in assembly for their wonderful team work.

Our sticker assembly was very busy again as we welcomed Mr Axon who will teach our sports for us on Fridays for the rest of this term. We also were pleased to hand out some Grade 2 in Clarinet certificates for two of our Year 6 pupils who both earned a merit in their exams - well done!

And, of course, well done to the children who are proudly wearing their Headteacher's Sticker this week. Your teachers have spotted you showing such lovely values such as: friendship towards new pupils; hard work and resilience in your writing; fractions and spellings; great motivation in learning their times tables and lines for the play as well as just being fantastic role models.  Thank you all so much - you really do help to make the school a lovely place to be!
