We've had some lovely Indian dancing this week from the children in the Tuesday club with Mrs Bachmann and Mrs Sandher - a real treat for staff and parents and soon to be shared in our assembly too.
Thank you to all of our pupils who represented our Kington so well at the Summer Games at the Hereford Leisure Centre, joining many other school from around the county to take part in dodgeball, rounders, athletics amongst other sports. We will aim to share some photos with you soon.
Thursday was our transition morning as well as the day our Year 6 children went to their new high schools for the day. It was so lovely to go around the school and see the children happily working with their new teachers in their new classrooms.
Please note that we will be holding a parents' drop-in on Thursday 11th July from 3.30pm to 4.45pm for any parents who would like to pop in and say hello to their child's new teacher in the new classroom. All welcome!
Congratulations to our many awardees today; house point badges, TTRS green map winners and our Headteachers' Stickers. Thank you for working so hard and showing the values in such a positive way. Mr Sell, our Mayor also came in to share a story he had written that incorporated all of our important values.
Our youngest children had a great time this morning searching for buried treasure around the school for their Pirate Day - there was some fierce 'Ooo-arrhs' coming from the Nursery all morning!
