Thinking of Others

We ended this week congratulating the children receiving their Headteacher sticker and it also fitted beautifully with Children in Need. The children work so hard with commitment and focus and were celebrated for concentration, contribution, enthusiasm and supporting each other. They give so freely to each other supporting not only in the curriculum subjects but socially and emotionally.

As we talked about why some of us were wearing silly socks we thought about the gifts that we can give and those that we receive. Often these gifts are friendship, thoughtfulness, love, hope and understanding. We have such thoughtful and reflective children.

Thank you to each and every one of them and for the generous donations.

Some of our Year Six pupil also had a day of Bikeability which not only shows them how to look after their bikes but how to ride safely on the roads.

Some of the photographs were a request from the children to see if they could spot who was wearing which socks or tights!!

Have fun trying to work it out.
