Today we are going to learn more about trees.  Did you know that trees often live over 100 years and this oak tree near Eardisley is over 1000 years old.  It is called the Great Oak.  Here are two pictures of the Great Oak.  When do you think these pictures were taken?  Why do you think that? 

Oaks are deciduous which means they loose their leaves in winter.
