In English, we have been exploring performative poetry while studying the poem “Mummy”, which explains the fascinating process of mummification. We looked closely at the stanzas of the poem and worked together to create actions and movements to help us memorise and perform each part. This made the learning really engaging and helped bring the poem to life. We had great fun practising our performances, using expression, actions and teamwork to present the poem with confidence!
