We had a super fun time creating our very own Stone Age caves using cardboard boxes, paper and charcoal! The children got creative, transforming their boxes into prehistoric homes and experimenting with charcoal to create a cave-like appearance.
We thought about how Stone Age people may have lived, what their caves might have looked like and how they used natural materials to create cave art. By the end, the classroom looked like a Stone Age settlement - and the children certainly looked as though they had been living in their caves!
