Sparkle and Shine

We have certainly welcomed in December in style. Our oldest children watched a fabulous Pantomime and were so grateful to be chosen by the children and the families as we could not all watch this year. We hope that the hall will be full next year but Yr5 and Yr6 certainly made a lot of fabulous pantomime noise.

School has started to sparkle with signs of the festive season but the biggest sparkle comes from our children who every week amaze us at all they have achieved. We are constantly impressed with the work that they do in all subjects and the positive attitude and determination they show.

Friendship and Tolerance are our new Values for this month and the children give us so many examples of both in all they do. It is always so rewarding to share with them as some receive their Headteacher Stickers and we say well done to everyone.

We have also seen the start of small but beautiful celebrations with our families. Year One and Year Two treated us to the precious story of Christmas, with their Nativity, while Year Three shared lots of amazing creative activities and gave us a fantastic song to finish.

There are lots more celebrations to look forward to next week and how amazing is it to be able to welcome families into school in some little way. We know that this is the best gift we could give to you and are so grateful to you all for supporting your children and giving us such a wonderful school community of remarkable young people.
