Our School Value for May is Cooperation.
Our Core Values: Hope, Trust, Courage & Perseverance, Respect, Cooperation, Responsibility, Kindness & Friendship, Honesty, Peace and Understanding.
We explore our core values in our school and class assemblies and look out for them in our daily practice, earning Values Vouchers and Beads as we go.
Congratulations to our final award winners for November. We all had a great 'Wear What You Like' day with children bringing donations for our Christmas Fair on Friday 6th December. We hope to see you there.
We are delighted that our Indoor Athletics team have made it through to the 2014 Herefordshire Winter Games in February. They will represent our cluster of schools. Congratulation to them all. The hard training now begins!!
'Buddy' from ChildLine joined us today to talk to the older children about what they can do if they have any worries or fears, however big or small. Buddy will be back soon to do some workshops. We hope this is another way to make sure that all our children are safe and happy.
Congratulations to the children awarded this week's Headteacher Stickers. They are all so proud of their achievement.
We would like to say thank you to the children for supporting the Poppy Appeal and raising £111.19. Vital welfare and benevolent work can be done with our help.
Children's Commissioner's Day saw Dick and Jo in school talking to the children about being safe.
Another great week.
Mrs Priday arrived to collect the shoe boxes for Samaritan's Purse. They will bring such joy to the children who receive them this Christmas. Thank you for helping to bring a smile to their faces this year.
It was lovely to hear the sound of the piano as Mr Gilling accompanied our younger children in the hall as they begin to prepare for their Christmas celebrations.
Year Six led assembly today sharing with us thoughts and poetry to help us think about the importance of today and why we remember all those who died, and continue to die, in Wars across the world. It was very moving with all the children joining in a minutes silence.
A group of Year Six pupils joined Mrs Phillips, Mr Ward Willis and Mr Yeomans on the Remembrance Parade yesterday laying a wreath on behalf of all the children and staff. They were thoughtful representatives of the school.
