We explore our core values in our school and class assemblies and look out for them in our daily practice, earning Values Vouchers and Beads as we go.
Party clothes, food and games made for a fun filled day with much laughter and excitement. We all enjoy Party Day. Pinning the moustache on Mr Perkins raised the most noise!
Lucia and Dillon played Silent Night on their flutes around school which was beautiful.
Our Junior Road Safety Officers awarded their prizes for the November competition: Keeping Safe While Travelling In A Car. There were pictures, posters and comic strips amongst the entries. Well done to everyone.
Our Carol Concert at St Mary’s Church was beautiful and we enjoyed not only the children reading and singing but the congregational carols that filled the church. It was a lovely final Christmas celebration. Mrs Phillips was swept up in the moment and introduced the final Carols while Helen waited patiently in the pulpit. She did speak beautifully in the morning as the picture shows.
A wonderful 'Wriggly Nativity' today with our Nursery and Reception children singing beautifully and telling us the Christmas Story. Nursery was packed and there were a few tears too...from the adults.
We had the first of our Christmas celebrations today with KS1 telling us the story of Babushka. The hall was full of family and friends and the children told the story beautifully in words and song. Magical and very special.
Poets and mathematicians were included in this weeks Headteacher Award winners. Congratulations to them all.
