Our School Value for May is Cooperation.
Our Core Values: Hope, Trust, Courage & Perseverance, Respect, Cooperation, Responsibility, Kindness & Friendship, Honesty, Peace and Understanding.
We explore our core values in our school and class assemblies and look out for them in our daily practice, earning Values Vouchers and Beads as we go.
It has been amazing to have some sunshine this week and it certainly helped with the clearing of our pond to give all the incredible living things chance to grow and flourish. Year Six were brilliant and marvelled at all they found, as did some of our younger children who were able to peep over the fence.
With half term next week it was time for Achievements Certificates and the words that we were able to share about the children's special personal and academic qualities made it very special. Everyone has had another incredible half term and celebrating each and every one of them was important too. A huge congratulations to our certificate children.
In the nursery the children are discovering the wonder of bees and thoroughly enjoyed sharing a book about them with Mrs Bretherton.
Happy Half Term everyone.
Congratulations to all our Headteacher sticker awardees this week. So many lovely reasons given by our teachers, including beautifully presented work, improved listening skills and focus, amazing efforts in their phonics or reading as well as making good choices on the playground. Well done to everyone!
It was lovely for all the children to be able to get outside and enjoy some nice weather today with our Reception children even going on a welly walk! Our House Captains proudly presented lots of house point badges in their assembly and as everyone has been working so hard, it was very difficult for all the teachers to choose just two children for a sticker!
