Activity 1:
Let's keep talking about the number 14. Watch the episode about number 14 on the Ten Town website that we use each week (click on class sign in, username: reception2018, password: kington), play the games and songs too.
In your maths book can you write the following 'teen' number sentences and work out the answers:
10 + 1 = 1 + 10 =
10 + 2 = 2 + 10 =
10 + 3 = 3 + 10 =
10 + 4 = 4 + 10 =
Use the 'switch it around' rule that we have talked about in school to help you with the second set of number sentences.
Activity 2:
Some more Springtime maths. Listen to Starting with a story - Making collections. If you do have a garden try this activity there. If you do walk outside of your home to do this please keep to the social distancing and gathering rules. Can you make a collection of 14 items? Show us a picture on Tapestry.
