Our world is full of amazing patterns. We have learned about the patterns of minibeasts this week –

a butterfly is symmetrical

a ladybird is also symmetrical with its doubling spots

we made caterpillars with repeating patterns..

I wonder if you can spot any more patterns? There are lots of different creatures and plants here. Can you spot what they are? I think I can spot two minibeasts – what are they?

For your activity today, can you find some stripes in the world outside? You might be in your garden or you might be on a walk to the park. Can you take some photographs of the patterns you find? You might need to get quite close! Choose your best patterns and send the pictures to us on Tapestry.

You could use this to help you find different types of patterns as an extra challenge. Don’t worry about some of the long words!
