Activity 1:
Ask an adult to hide your numbercards 1-20 around the room or in the garden. Go on a hunt to find number 14, use a telescope (empty toilet roll) or torch to help you. Once you have found number 14 count out 14 small objects onto a plate e.g. raisins, coins, lego bricks. The whole number you have is 14, how could you split it into 2 parts? Numberblock 14 split into 10 and 4, what ways will you find? can you find 3 different ways? Draw them in your maths book.
Activity 2:
Go to the Ten Town website to complete Tommy Two's sock challenge, you could earn a certificate or a prize. If you collect 7 pairs of socks how many socks are there altogether?
