Christmas Presence

Today really turned up the Christmas feeling around school.  During the morning, many of children were surprised to see two lovely visitors on the playground; Mork and Mindy, a beautiful pair of donkeys, along with Father Christmas too!

We also congratulated, during assembly, all the children who had achieved 100% attendance.  In addition, a girl and boy from each Key Stage were selected from a draw and given prizes, as they had earned a Green Card during break time or lunchtime for positive behaviour choices.  Well done to all of you for your achievements.

Then, from midday, Year 6 put on a number of exciting festive games for the rest of the whole school to enjoy.  Thank you Year 6 for the time and effort you had clearly put into these activities.  After working up an appetite, classes were called into the hall to enjoy their Christmas Lunch together.  It's such a treat to see everyone in such good spirits, pulling crackers and sharing jokes.  Thank you very much to all our lunchtime team, who worked so efficiently to serve so many lunches.

We look forward to our last two days, which are filled with even more fun treats.
