Today was our second Enrichment Day of the year with the theme of Interdependence.
The weather unfortunately changed some of our plans, with a few activities now taking place later in the week. Our Reception class were able to see the front cover of a very exciting book, but have to wait until Friday to explore what lies within.
We used several wonderful books to inspire the children to ask questions, be creative, and research ideas.
Throughout the day we were thinking about how we depend on each other and nature; and how nature depends on us. We have such thoughtful, kind, and caring children; and days like today really show those fabulous characteristics. Year Five were able to share their festive celebrations with their families, even though we had to open all the windows and bring everyone safely inside.
We are enjoying bringing a little bit of the Christmas spirit to our community.
