Friday 17th February

So much happening this week as usual: fantastic Enrichment activities to celebrate our sustainable Harmony values and the chance for all year groups to work with each other; our local Fire Crew came to visit to tell us all about the important job they do for our community and gave us the chance to share their equipment and fire engine with us; sharing stories in Nursery; making gingerbread biscuits in Reception to explore The Gingerbread Man story; Sports Leader training in Hereford for some of year fives who will help lead playtime activities; Sports Council competition winners announced with great prizes and amazing achievement certificates awarded in our achievement assembly.  That really all is in just one week! Thank you so much to the Fire Crew Mike, Phil, Leanne and Liam for spending the morning with us on Thursday - we learnt so much and the children absolutely loved the chance to watch what you do and ask you questions.

Another very special thing that happened this week was that our Sports Council and Young Leaders were the first to wear our brand new sports kit which we have ready for when we play events with other schools. A huge thank you to Mrs Joyce and G. M. Joyce for sponsoring our new kit. It is much appreciated and the children loved showing it off this week.

Happy half term everyone. Take care and see you on the 27th February.
