Happy Half Term
Seven wonderful weeks of watching the children settle into their new classes with such joy, enthusiasm and love of learning. They are still adapting to a different way of being and we sadly are not able to do many of the things we would like to do but staying safe and well is so important for us all.
We swapped the weekly Headteacher stickers for our half termly Achievement Certificates today. The children were delighted, and in many cases totally surprised. In every class we recognised everything that every child had achieved over the seven weeks. They are all amazing.
Year Five had perfect weather to be able to invite their families to school to share bread and soup. The soup recipes were based on WW1 research that linked to their topic and gave the children the opportunity to cook, taste and share. It was a lovely morning.
