We were thankful that the rain stayed off for us to enjoy a fantastic Sports Day. We witnessed some amazing balancing, throwing, jumping and running (including the adults!). Congratulations to all the children for their fantastic efforts and achievements. Medals were presented to individual class members for sporting achievement and commitment throughout the year with trophy's for three children who have had an exceptional all round sporting year. The Victrix and Victor Ludorum awards are kindly donate and presented by Kington Festival Committee. When all the scores for the day were counted we celebrated success for Ireland-KS1 and Scotland-KS2. It was very close!
The event was also a way to support the British Heart Foundation as all the children warmed up at the start of the day skipping to raise money for this important charity.
