It has been a glorious week with us all enjoying the sunshine and taking our learning outside, whenever possible.

Lawn Bowls practice took place inside and the children loved it. We are delighted that, after Easter, we are able to offer a Lawn Bowls after school club. We thank Kington Bowls Club for allowing us to use their facilities.

House Captains proudly awarded badges to the children who have met their next milestone and we congratulated the children receiving Headteacher Stickers for this week. 

This week saw Headteacher stickers celebrating children who are ’values ambassadors’ for the school. They reflect so many of our values in all they do and this week the values of thoughtfulness, collaboration, kindness and determination shone through.

One of our brilliant Student Teachers is finishing his teaching practice today and although we may be seeing him again soon, we wished him all the very best and thanked him for all he has contributed during his time with us. 

We were also able to present the 1st prize in our recent inter-house competition. Once again all of the entries showed how brilliant our children are at thinking about being safe on the internet. We have fantastic posters around school to remind us.
