World Book Day
The last few days have been so much fun, as we celebrated World Book Day in school with a Paddington theme. In assembly today, the adults in school had to make some extremely difficult decisions as to whose entry for 'Book in a box or jar' competition would earn first place. On Thursday, we welcomed Alex Thimm and two of his BA Photography students from Hereford Art College. As part of their degree course, they are capturing the life of Kington, which included a visit to our school. Thank you very much for including us in your project. Year 6 also made the whole school laugh with their World Book Day themed assembly, which saw Goldilocks in court accused of causing problems at the home of the Three Bears.
We congratulated a number of children in assembly today for earning their house point badges, as well as awarding children with Head teacher Awards.
A very busy, but exciting few days!
