We have had an exciting two days in school. On Monday a 'Mad Scientist' arrived to show the children lots of exciting experiments in assembly. Some of the children are looking forward to joining her for more fantastic after school sessions.

Today our House Captains introduced the new House Challenge. Each House will perform a song to the school on December 3rd after auditions and lots of practice. They have members of staff to support them but the Captains will arrange everything including the choice of song. To launch this challenge the staff sang 'Lean On Me' to the school.

It was also fantastic to see Year 5 and Year 6 enjoying Yoga sessions with Georgie. They said how calm and good they felt afterwards.

We had an exciting visit this week from the Nature Trust to tell us about the plans for Birches Farm, just on the outskirts of Kington. They have secured this amazing 60 acre farm and we will be able to use it for conservation and pleasure especially when the outdoor classroom is established. More information on the October Newsletter.
