Our School Value for May is Cooperation.

Our Core Values: Hope, Trust, Courage & Perseverance, Respect, Cooperation, Responsibility, Kindness & Friendship, Honesty, Peace and Understanding.

We explore our core values in our school and class assemblies and look out for them in our daily practice, earning Values Vouchers and Beads as we go.

    As part of our Road Safety Week, Mrs Welson and our Junior Road Safety Officers delivered an important assembly about being a safe pedestrian.  It focussed on how to cross the road safely and sensibly, as well as the importance of 'Be bright, be seen'.  The JRSOs also revealed the winners and runners-up of their poster competition for KS1 and KS2. Congratulations to all the children for listening and taking part so well.

    We are delighted to have been able to appoint our School Ambassadors today. We look forward to them welcoming all our visitors with their first important day being on Monday (30th November) when we have our Open Morning. We are sure they will all be brilliant!

    Congratulations to all our pupils who earned their Headteacher's stickers today.  There were so many proud faces as their teachers explained to the rest of the school who they chosen and why.  'Caring', 'working hard in all areas', 'facing new challenges' and 'making a super effort with their handwriting' were just some of the reasons  we heard today so well done to all of you.

    We all got in the Pudsey spirit today and managed to raise a whopping £251.35!  Fantastic - thank you to everyone.

    We were very proud to be represented on Sunday 8th November at the Kington Remembrance Day parade by some of our Year 5 and 6 pupils.
  • Tuesday 10th November New Curriculum and Assessment Information Evening for Parents

    Thank you to all the parents and friends who came to find out more about the new National Curriculum that we are implementing and how our assessment procedures have changed.  Please refer to our useful year group booklets and PowerPoint on the school information page of this website.  If you have any further questions or feedback, we'd be interested to hear from you.

    We all gathered this morning to see who had earned a Headteacher Award from each class.  We had some excellent role models, team players, mathematicians and children with good behaviour.  We also congratulated some year 6 children on achieving their swimming badges.
