We wished each other a Happy Christmas and made up actions to Christmas songs while we sang and celebrated the final Achievement Assembly of 2016. We wished Mrs Talbot all the best as she sadly leaves us to have some time to relax. Save The Children - Christmas Jumper Day raised £146. Thank you for taking part. A lovely day to say goodbye until the 4th January 2017. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone.

Our Christmas Carol Concert at St Mary's Church brought together a mix of traditional and modern to complete our celebrations of the Christmas story. Year Six readers told the story beautifully and all the children created a lovely atmosphere with their singing. The congregation joined with us to make it a special day.

Samples of the new school hoodie arrived in school today. They can be worn for sports clubs and events but will not replace the school jumper. They can be ordered form the school office initially and then direct from Clubsport. The children modelling them loved them!

The children have delighted both the school and parents with their celebrations of the Christmas story. It is hard to really capture the moments that make each performance so special but the children have made their families laugh and cry. Really wonderful.

Christmas festivities and celebrations have begun in school with our KS1 Nativity. The shepherds, kings and angels all joined Mary and Joseph on stage today for a dress rehearsal for the whole school. We are sure that the audience tomorrow will enjoy it as much as we did.

Fantastic effort and helpfulness became the theme for this weeks Headteacher Stickers. Some of the children were acknowledged for their contribution to Enrichment Day while for others it was their class work. Well done everyone.

The children are so imaginative and creative during our Enrichment Days and have such fabulous experiences with children from others classes. Even our milk monitors created a map of North and South America with the milks. The Gardening group visited Turners Garden Centre to discover where all the Christmas tress originated from and to try and age them. After checking on the hens and their eggs they designed egg boxes to encourage re-cycling.  Great fun and lots of fantastic learning too.
