We are so proud of all our children who turned out to march in Kington's Remembrance Parade last Sunday.  Our Year 6 representatives laid the wreath on the memorial cross on the school's behalf as part of the proceedings but there were many others there representing their Brownies, Badgers and Cadets proudly.  Thank you for supporting this very important event.

What a lovely way to start back after half term!  Achievement Certificates were awarded to some very proud children for a wide range of reasons but the words that popped up a lot were 'a good role model for others' and 'a great attitude to their work and play'.   Well done everyone and keep it up!

We also listened to a well-presented and thought-provoking assembly given by our Year 6 pupils about Remembrance Day and the significance of the poppy at this time.  They shared their own poems and diary entries with us as they helped us to remember those that have given their lives for us. Thank you Year 6.
