  • Headteacher's Awards

Fri 28 Sep 2018 Mrs Bretherton
What a lovely way to end our fourth week of the Autumn term! The House Captains were very busy in today's assembly, proudly announcing those who have achieved their next House Point badge including two bronze stars.  Today's sticker winners have all been spotted by their teachers, working very hard and helping others around them. Well done everyone! We also had a special assembly to say 'au revoir' to Mrs Upshaw who has been a Lunch-time Supervisor with for nearly four years and is moving on with new opportunities. Thank you so much and we will miss you Mrs Upshaw.
  • Peace Week

    Wed 19 Sep 2018 Mrs A Phillips
As part of 'Peace Week' we have been really lucky to welcome into school Georgie, Reverend Ben, Joe and The Courtyard Theatre to work with the children on how we can have a happy and peaceful school. We have thought about peace across the world and reflected on how we can all work towards peace and harmony. A super and important week at school.
  • Friday's Awards

    Fri 14 Sep 2018 Mr D Perkins

In addition to celebrating this week's winners of the Head Teacher Awards, we also congratulated three children from Key Stage 2.  Many of our KS2 children entered work into the recent Kington Show and created some very inventive and original hanging mobiles as well as designs for mobile phones.  Well done to everyone who entered.

Next week is 'Peace Week' across school.

  • First Friday

    Fri 07 Sep 2018 Mrs A Phillips
What a difficult job the children had yesterday choosing their House Captains. Today we celebrated those who have been elected and we look forward to all the exciting things that they have planned for the year ahead. The staff also had a really difficult job selecting the first children to be awarded Headteacher stickers because all of the children have settled back into school brilliantly. Congratulation to the children who did that extra special thing this week to earn them their sticker. A super first week back for everyone.
  • House Captains

    Thu 06 Sep 2018 Mrs A Phillips
We were delighted to see so many of our Year Six pupils putting themselves forward to be House Captains this year. It is not easy to write a speech and present yourself to the rest of the school. They were all so amazing and it made deciding such a difficult job for the children. The result was really close and the school will be told the result tomorrow. Well done and thank you to them all.
  • Welcome Back

    Tue 04 Sep 2018 Mrs A Phillips
It is brilliant to see the children back in school ready for a new and exciting year. They all seem happy and settled, ready for the next challenge and enjoying working and playing together. In assembly the children helped introduce our school 'Value' for the month - Freedom. Welcome back everyone.
