Our School Value for May is Cooperation.

Our Core Values: Hope, Trust, Courage & Perseverance, Respect, Cooperation, Responsibility, Kindness & Friendship, Honesty, Peace and Understanding.

We explore our core values in our school and class assemblies and look out for them in our daily practice, earning Values Vouchers and Beads as we go.

    Year Six entertained us with a fabulous Leavers Assembly before heading out into the playground for the traditional shirt signing. We wish them all the very best and thank them for all their special contributions to school over the years. Happy Holiday to everyone.

    We celebrated the end of the year and the end of an era as the final Achievement Certificates were awarded and we said a very special goodbye and Happy Retirement to our longest serving member of staff. Congratulation to everyone.

    Headteacher Award assembly came around quickly this week with many of the children today being recognised for their role in The Lion King while others were congratulated for writing, kindness, courage and participation. Congratulations to them all.

    A wonderful treat for our youngest children who were mesmerised by the singing, dancing and costumes that all came together to tell the story of The Lion King. It was a fantastic dress rehearsal for the two shows tomorrow.

    While the rest of the school enjoyed a move to their new class, and for many a new room, Year Six spent the morning with Mrs Bennison at Lady Hawkins for the first of two gym sessions. They were amazing.

    A really lovely start to the week looking at our new value for the month - Courage - and celebrating the many wonderful things the children have achieved over the past week. It is harder and harder to select the children as they are all working so well together with great success.
