  • Wow!

Fri 25 Jun 2021 Mrs Welson & Mr Perkins

What an amazing week we have all had! There have been so many exciting learning experiences happening right across school including developing a class pond in Reception, beautiful flower making in Y3, Sports Council meeting to plan our special day in school on 7th July & a visit to LHS by Y5.

Today’s Head-teacher’s stickers were awarded for so many different brilliant reasons including wonderful writing, teamwork, wonderful consistent effort, excellent sharing with others, showing bravery, for sharing amazing enthusiasm and for showing a talent in curling. What a variety of super reasons for our stickers today, well done everyone. We would also like to say ‘Congratulations’ to Kenley in Year 6 who came runner up in the Herefordshire 500 words writing competition, a super achievement.

This morning Mrs Phillips shared with us some lovely calming activities to help us to prepare for next week’s whole school ‘Harmony week’ which we are all really looking forward to and will share with you next week.

  • It's Friday

Fri 18 Jun 2021 Mrs AC Phillips

Nature can teach us so much and this is such a magical time of the year to be growing, observing and exploring. The children love to show us the things around school where they can watch nature in action. One of our Year Four children said " nature is just the best thing and it was here before us"

The Headteacher Sticker awards were as tricky to choose as always because the children are just amazing.

This week we celebrated seeing our value of 'Friendship' in the way the children care about each other as well as incredible model making, writing, perseverance, commitment, positivity and sensitivity. We also wanted to say thank you and good bye to one of our student teachers.

Friday's like today are such a special way to end the week and say well done to everyone.

  • Fabulous Friday

Fri 11 Jun 2021 Mrs AC Phillips

Everyone has settled back into school after half term and are being truly amazing. We had so many House Point Badges awarded this morning that it was almost impossible to fit all the children on the screen for a photograph. We also had to squeeze in all of Year Six who received a class Headteacher Sticker for being a fabulous group as they prepare for their final few weeks with us. Across school children were celebrated for their work, their positive attitude, for careful observation of nature and skills in PE. Such an incredible range. Congratulations everyone. Many of the children asked for their photograph to be taken outside near the amazing 'bug hotels' and colourful planting.

It has been such a treat to be outside this week in the beautiful weather.
