  • Farewell

    Fri 20 Jul 2018 Mrs A Phillips
Year Six treated us to a fabulous Leavers Assembly where we were able to say good luck and goodbye while wishing them a really happy future at High School. We congratulated the Jubilee Cup winner for this year in recognition of her contribution to school over the years, the way she reflects the values of the school and her achievement in many diverse areas. Today was also the time to sadly say goodbye to several members of the staff team and especially hard was saying farewell to Mrs Driver who is retiring after 23 years. We all loved the gifts that Mrs Driver has left for the children to play with at break times. There was a bit of time to play with the bubble machine during assembly, much to the delight of the children. Congratulation on a super school year everyone. Wishing you all a very happy Summer holiday.
  • Achievement Assembly

Tue 17 Jul 2018 Mrs Bretherton
During our final Achievement Award Assembly today, we celebrated children's 100% attendance over the Summer term as well as the whole year; children achieving their first house point badge and those children who have worked so hard throughout the term to make progress and represent themselves and the school brilliantly.  We were also joined by Dick Allford, who has been such an valued part of our school community for many years and was presented with a present and a beautiful card made and signed by all of us.  Thank you Dick for all your support and advice and best wishes in your retirement.
  • Year 6 Party!

Mon 16 Jul 2018 Mrs Bretherton
A great time was had by all at the end of term party for our Year 6 children. Water fights, pizza, chocolate cake...perfect!
  • Values in the Forest

Mon 16 Jul 2018 Mrs Bretherton
This introductory session organised by Sam Goddard was a great chance for our families to meet each other and take part in activities involving nature and exploring.  Thank you to all involved and we look forward to working with you all in September.
  • Headteacher's Awards

Fri 13 Jul 2018 Mrs Bretherton
Congratulations to our worthy winners today!  It was lovely to enjoy a chance to celebrate all the wonderful ways our children are contributing to school life before the show performances this afternoon and this evening.  Good luck everyone!
  • Moving On

    Tue 10 Jul 2018 Mrs A Phillips
We enjoyed the first of two induction mornings with the children moving into their new classes in preparation for September. They settled brilliantly and the morning went really quickly. Some of Year Five created beautiful natural collages in the sunshine.
  • Achievement Assembly

    Fri 06 Jul 2018 Mrs A Phillips

Despite a glorious but warm week the children have stayed focussed and worked really hard with their learning and on all of our school 'values'. We congratulated them together with some of our youngest children who received their first swimming badge. Well done everyone.

We also took some children to Lady Hawkins' to be part of the first ever young persons LOCH. The Hereford LOCH is a committee that plans the Herefordshire School Games so these young people will become part of reviewing and planning both the Summer and Winter Games.

  • Summer Games 2018

    Wed 04 Jul 2018 Mr D Perkins

We were pleased to take 4 teams to the Summer Games at Hereford Leisure Centre today.  Our lacrosse, tri-golf and athletics teams consisted of year 3 & year 4 children, whereas our hockey team included a range from years 4 to 6.

All our teams did well, against tough opposition as well as challenging weather conditions.  Congratulations to you all and thank you for representing our school so well.
