The sky brightened just in time for our school Christmas lunch and games provided by Year Six. What a fantastic meal, thank you Lady Hawkins' and fun filled few hours.  We also congratulated swimmers in year 3 and year 4 for their effort and progress by awarding them their badges.  Finally, we congratulated the whole school for achieving the Sainsbury's School Games Silver Award; now we are aiming for Gold.

We are definitely feeling festive in school this week with our Early Years and Infant Nativity plays. The children have been amazing and family members a delighted audience. We have had tears of joy, laughter and singing, and that was the adults! We are all looking forward to the Junior Carol Service next Tuesday.

The children were rewarded with Headteacher Stickers for their positive attitude to learning and their achievement in maths, football and writing. We thanked all the children for their commitment and effort in school.

We were also able to share the new red vest that the Red Hats and Monitors are going to wear so they are easily identified and there to support the children around school. We would like to thank the Kington Lions who supported us in providing these fantastic vests.

All this and a fantastic Christmas Fair, including a visit from Father Christmas, thanks to the hard work of Friends of Kington Primary School.

We were all treated to a fantastic show of Jack and the Beanstalk, courtesy of Chaplins Pantos. A super performance and the children (and staff) all joined in and had a great time. Thank you everyone for your contributions towards the event and to Friends of Kington Primary School for organising and arranging the show.
