We ended another fantastic Science Week by coming together to share the wonderful things that the children have made, learnt and experienced this week.  Our classes have completed some super activities with their Buddies and really learnt a lot from each other.  Thank you again to Mrs Hedley for organising the week, the parents for sending in donations and to the children for really engaging in the activities.  Have a brilliant Easter holiday.

Science Week has begun with Buddy Class time to share experiments and scientific problems. The children love working together and the conversations are amazing. We had a very exciting experiment in assembly too. The children are going to experience the exciting world of

minibeasts, watch chicks hatch and explore the solar system in a super pop up Planetarium. A science session for our oldest children at Lady Hawkins' High School just adds to the great week.

We swapped school uniform for sports clothes today to raise money for Sport Relief. In assembly we thought about how our money could help and congratulated the children receiving Headteacher Stickers . Special certificates were also given to the children who took part in  Puzzle Day last week. The afternoon saw all of our older children taking part in a fun run, staff too.

I am so proud of our Year 4 pupils who represented our school brilliantly at Gardner Hall today.  They got stuck in straight away, mixing with pupils from the other 8 schools from around Herefordshire, to solve logic games, maths problems and team challenges.  Well done to you all!

In assembly today all the children were able to think about at least one thing they had achieved this week and we awarded the specially selected children with Headteacher Stickers. Four children have also travelled to Hereford with Mrs Bretherton to take part in an exciting Mathematics Puzzle Day so look out for the pictures later. Well done everyone.

Today, we celebrated World Book Day and were blown away by the effort that all the children made in dressing up as one of their favourite book characters.  During assembly, we celebrated a number of children's successes in gaining house point badges, as well as receiving Head Teacher Awards.  We thanked Mrs Lewis for her time spent with us and wish her luck for the future.  We also sang a multi-lingual version of Happy Birthday to Mrs Welson!
