Fri 30 Jun 2023 Mrs Bretherton

Kindness and responsibility were a real focus for our Headteacher stickers this week with many children showing wonderful manners and being good role-models for the rest of the school. Many were also spotted for their incredible progress and hard work that they have been demonstrating in their lessons too. What a lovely mix of compliments and reasons for those earning their stickers. Congratulations and thank you everyone! Have a nice weekend and don't forget we are open after-school on Thursday next week for you to come and meet your child's new teacher in their new classroom until 5pm. This is also an opportunity to pick up an information pack to help you prepare your child for the new start in September. Take care everyone.

We have had a very bust but productive week!  From the gallery of work inspired by 'Fly - the Walking Dog of Kington' on Wednesday, cutting the collar with the Deputy Mayor of Kington Philip Sell and then two fantastic sports days today.  We'll let the pictures speak for themselves but well done to everyone involved and thank you so much to our staff and pupils for organising and taking part in such a positive and supportive event! We are very proud of you!

    Fri 16 Jun 2023 Mrs A Welson

What a wonderful end to our week this morning's sticker assembly was. All adults commented on how well each and every class have coped in the heat, well done everyone.

This week our stickers were awarded for such a super variety of reasons including: showing determination in all learning tasks, settling brilliantly into a new school, being helpful to adults in school,  demonstrating bravery and for super fractions at forest school!

We wish you all a happy weekend and look forward to seeing you all on Monday. We are also looking forward to the return of our Year 5 and 6 Redridge children, who we are sure will have lots of exciting things to tell us.

Sat 10 Jun 2023 Mrs Bretherton

As well as celebrating all of the achievements the children have made during the week, we welcomed Ms Staton from LHS who came to meet Year 6 ready for their transition to high school.   They worked together on some drama activities, all good practice for the show they are currently working on, and had a lot of fun. Year 6 have also been exploring team working skills in their Forest School sessions with Vik.

As always, the disco was a great success after school and we would like to say a huge thank you to the Friends of KPS who organised the event and raised over £400. Thank you again to our very own 'DJ Perkins' for the tunes!

Today our Headteacher stickers were awarded for kindness, super learning, always doing the right thing and friendship. Congratulations to all of you.
