Some of our Year 5 pupils were invited to take part in the Music Festival at Hellens Manor in Much Marcle.  We were thoroughly inspired by both the beautiful setting and the wonderful musicians we worked with.  Thank you to everyone at Hellens Manor and Hannah, Jenni and Bridget for a brilliant day. Please see more information in the 'photos' section of our Year 5 class page.

Even though it has been a short week all of the children have impressed us and we were delighted to present Headteacher Stickers for mathematics, writing, being amazing friends and general brilliant work and attitudes. Congratulations to everyone.

Gardening club made the most of some good weather and planted sweet peas for us all to enjoy later in the year.

We have started looking at our new 'value' for the month of May - Caring. The children have thought about who cares for them and how they can care for others. It is lovely to hear the children chatting about it at lunchtime and during break. During assembly Joe and Clifton the monkey considered the importance and benefits of real friendship. A task was made possible when a friend came to help!
